Pakistan Peoples Party stalwart Faisal Saleh Hayat was injured in a road accident on Motorway when the vehicle carrying him to his home town Shah Jewna collided with a trailer on Thursday morning. Faisal had recently rejoined PPP in the presence of Asif Zardari.

The party sources said both Faisal and his driver were critically injured in accident and they were shifted to the Allied hospital in Faisalabad. The hospital administration kept Faisal in the operation theater for two hours. His nose was bleeding terribly besides bruises on his lips and left hand. However, he was shifted to private room after treatment while the driver is still in a critical condition.
